Yes, most of the time I say God Bless You. Doesn't matter to me what beliefs they have. It is said that when you sneeze, for that quick second you are in a lifeless state. That's why your eyes close during the sneeze.

A kind "bless you" or the like from a friend or stranger is merely a reassurance that someone out there cares that I feel terrible, and hopes that I’ll feel better soon. I say it too out of empathy.

It goes back to the New World being settled, it was thought you sneezed out your soul, God Bless You was meant to to ask for Gods protection until you could go back to church and "reacquire your soul". Pilgrims etc.

No. Because I don't believe that people are sneezing out demons. This is old superstition and it is time to do away with it.

yes I do say bless you out of politeness but do I think it has any substance behind it, no. In fact, its something I almost do subconsciously
