I agree that some christians are very judgemental. I am a christian and I dont judge anyone. I dont understand why some christians judge because in the bible it says you are not to judge anyone that is for God to do. You can still be a christian even if you are a homosexual. Everyone sins even christians. The Bible also says that no one can be perfect and we are all born with sin because of the sin of Adam and Eve. If you do choose to ever become a christian. You will just need to find the right church without so many judgemental people. Good luck with your search.

Well if you spend some time studying the bible with an open mind and an open heart, then you will be amazed by the way the stories are interwoven. The Old Testament and New Testament refer back and forth to each other constantly. The symbolism and prophesies are more than could have been done by man alone. So it is very different from anything else. If you think the bible is an example of hatred toward homosexuals then you don't understand it. It does say very clearly that homosexuality is a sin, but that is not hate. It says stealing is a sin, but that is not hate. If I tell my kids not to steal, does that mean that I hate them? No! It means that I love them and want them to stay away from stealing. The same is true of homosexuality. The idea of homosexuals being born that way is nothing but propaganda. I'm sorry that you have fallen for it. Exgays would not exist if it were not a choice. As for your search for a religion. What use would it be to find a religion that is smaller than you? Will a religion that alters itself to your likes and dislikes have any meaning? If it means something today, will it still mean the same thing tomorrow if you change your mind? Your religion should challenge you to grow. both in terms of your understanding and your spirituality. Christianity does this. Your conflict with it's teachings are due to your refusal to grow.
I have said that homosexuality is a sin. I do not want to close without saying that we all sin one way or another. Still God loves us all equally. If you reject everything else that I have said, At least know that he loves you. Grow from there.

The Bible was God breathed and only penned by men. BELIEVE IT OR NOT one day you will know the truth. I hope that on that day you will be ready.
Just read the rest of your question. About homosexuals God doesn't hate them(in spite of what some idiot Christians might tell you) but he does hate the sin just like he hates other sins like drunkenness, stealing etc.
Gays are not born, almost all of them have been molested at a VERY YOUNG AGE, AND either don't have a relationship with their fathers or hate them.
The numbers don't lie, and I know of a number of Christians who were living a gay lifestyle until they were born again, some never had any more desire for it again while some others needed a number of years for their thinking to straighten out

The reason why the Bible is different is because the writers were influnced by the Holy Spirt. The fact that there are so many authors make this book amazing. 100's of authors who live 1000's of years apart and most never met eachother and their stories messages ect are extremely accurate with eachother. As for your question about homosexuality. Homosexualtiy is a personal choice no person is born a homosexual. Homosexuals are welcome in heaven if they change their ways.

So let me try and understand you. You question the authority of the men who wrote the bible, you're offended that the bible says that homosexuality is a sin (you don't agree), you think what it says is antiquated, you want everyone to be able to be and do whatever they want and you're looking for a religion that says don't worry, live as you wish, it's okay, i.e., you won't go to hell for anything. Have I got it right?
I'll be honest with you. There is a smorgasboard of beliefs out there. I'm sure you can find someone who will nod their head in agreement with all you say.
Please think about one thing: you may find the sort of "religion" that tells you exactly what you want to hear. That does not mean it is the truth.

Homosexuals will not go to hell because they are homosexual. They will go to hell because they are not born again. Jesus said you must be born again to be saved.
And, the Bible was written by men but inspired by God. The Holy Spirit told the men what to write.
Actually Christians ARE to judge others, but only other Christians, not people who are unsaved. The Bible is clear on this.

Yes, they were humans, but they were inspired by God to do
the Bible writings. We don't have to "judge" sins because the
Bible has already judged them and written them down so we
know exactly what is abominable to God, and what hinders
us from eternal life with Him. REad it yourself as I don't judge,
I just repeat what scriptures have already judged. Any other
religion is a false religion and won't bless you or get you into
heaven. Christ is the only one who died for our sins, was buried,
and rose again.....not one other who calls themselves God has
done that (and none other ever will). Jesus is the way, the truth,
and the life and no man comes to the Father except by Him.

They have some credibility after Deuteronomy 13 and 18. Have a look at what OT peopl did with false prophets. If they didn't get it right, they were stoned. That narrows the credibility gap significantly.

The Bible is the word of God. God chose the people who wrote it. Times may change, but the word of God never changes and is always the correct way to live your life.

properly, you for sure brush aside the textile staring you at as quickly as interior the face. some atheistic quip would be impending once I point out that the Apostle John who additionally wrote Revelation replaced into the liked of Jesus, that Matthew replaced into with Jesus and that Mark replaced into there as a youthful guy who fled "named" whilst Jesus replaced into arrested, that Paul met him in a constrained experience by using fact he spoke directly to the glorified Jesus having been blinded with the aid of the easy of that come across. And now follows the unbeliever's self-justifications for being unbelievers even in this. such a lot of of you think of that regardless of if God exists that he has no impact and might do not something actual, not something actual, in our international. God's interplay with adult men is as palpable as our very own is with others. whilst human beings work together commonly in momentary procedures, God's influence our lives deeply in the two useful or damaging procedures reckoning on regardless of if we are blessed or cursed with the aid of him.
