Does it make sense to you, and why if does? This is not the question for people that have not read about it. Please, no religious freaks telling me that I will burn in hell for reading those books.

im a Catholic but i do believe in reincarnation. im a spiritual being rather than religious. while i uphold most of the teachings of the catholic church, im also open to the universality of religions.

denying the truth about reincarnation would be like denying my existence-- as i've seen both past and future lives. i do regression and progression from time to time, and not always by choice. i simply see my lives, past, present and future ones being played out in my mind. it never scared me but i used to question the reality of what im seeing in my mind's eye. but as in anything and everything in our lives, we judge the wisdom of entertaining such seemingly weird things on the basis of what good or bad things they do to us.

has regression (seeing past lives) and progression (seeing future lives) done anything good to me? YES, or i would've stopped peeping in a long time ago.

past lives i've seen so far kind of explain the things that confuse me in the present. it makes me recognize the people in my life right now, who they were in the past to me, and the purpose of meeting them again in this lifetime. it tells me why someone can't seem to like me despite my not doing any harm to him/her; this makes forgiving such a person easier. it explains to me why i gravitate towards other people and vice versa. it helps me understand the relationships between me and all the people i encounter in this lifetime. it makes life peaceful for me, as i can easily forgive and close circles. "closing circles" mean ending a relationship with someone without hate-- while the pain could be lingering somewhere, forgiveness is sure to follow. closing circles allows you to move on in life faster and in a healthier way: no hate, no worries, no excess emotional baggages. a clean slate for the both of you.

but past lives should only HELP us UNDERSTAND the present life. it shouldn't RUN it to the point of obsession, or worse, paranoia.

i call progression a bonus: it tells me whom i'm supposed to meet next lifetime. it kind of lets me prepare myself in the present, ironing out differences in this lifetime, so the future could sail on smoother for all of us.

its a weird kind of life to people who cannot "SEE" the way psychics do-- it's a totally different world of the unseen. a lot weirder for me because im a Catholic.

one thing though-- i never chose to be this way. i was born this way. as God never makes mistakes, i believe God made me this way for a purpose. i consider this a gift and i thank Him for it.

i hope i was able to be of help to you.

I am non-religious and I have read about reincarnation a lot. Just don't buy into the concept of coming back in another body. Since matter cannot be born or die, we just pass on to other forms. Worm food or fertilizer. This allows other living beings to grow using our body and thus we pass on. As those living beings pass on what used to be us spread out and this process goes on. That is reincarnation to me. No soul transferring or anything like that.

Having been Pagan for a decade I have read a great deal and heard some stories involving reincarnation. I don't know if I believe in it or not. I guess I won't know if it's real till I actually die and it comes time for me to go into the next life (assuming it is real) and maybe not even then since in the next life I'll probaly forget about this one and any previous ones I might have had (again, assuming it's real). I'm open to the possibility though.

Yes I have. It makes sense to me. Well some of the books. Some just take it way out of context in my opinion. The fact that we are reborn until we live all of life's conflicts and learn of all of life's answers is a great ideal in my opinion. It could also explain the occasional glimpses of people seeing themselves in their past lives and finding truth about things which they would have not know otherwise unless the have been to that place before during that time. I myself believe it to be possible.

Our awareness of life is based on a genetic frequency.
No one else ever has your particular awareness
except you.
What we call a life is a genetic situation that takes
place in a field of energy.
The universe is really an energy field that recycles
energy.
We have two stages: Particle and Quantum.
We only have one way to learn to adapt and survive.
We have to slip in and out of the particle stage. Life
is a process of trial and error.
The impressions stamped onto quarks can't be
transferred while in the quantum stage. Thus, change
has to occur while we are in the particle stage.

I have read many books that deal with the subject of reincarnation. There are several religions that believe in it, and it has been said that at one point even the bible had references to it. It is a facinating subject, but at this time it has not been proven.....but then again, many stories in the bible have not been proven either. Faith, and what you believe in is yours, remember that no one has the right to tell you that you are wrong in what you believe in. They might say it, but it is your right to discount what they tell you.

Been there, done that...

There is just a question...
When will we be able to get out of Reincarnation?

I mean...This is like a circle...Life death Life again death again...so
on..

And Where are we coming from? we were born as human being..but what's happening before we were born? Even before we were formed to be actual human being(fetus)...? Where were us? and what were us? like another life form?
there are too much questions that we can't answer....

We didn't worry about that we were born to this world...
but what are we going to be after the death?

We may become another type of life being but not exist in this planet (earth)...It is possible that after our death(death of human), we will be sent to a temporary place, waiting to be determine our next trip(or going to be new life form), and send to that particular universe, a particular planet (whatever names).
and start our new life there...

very possible!

No it does not make sense to me at all. It negates God altogether. It makes you work and work and work to tlry to get perfect enough so that you will not longer cycle back again and again. Because we continue to sin and make mistakes, it is a loosing battle. The only thing that makes sense to me is choosing to love and serve a God who allows me to choose Him of my own free will, and who by His own love and choice forgives me of all my sin the moment I ask Him to do so. There's no risk in that!

I haven't read anything on it but I believe in it. It sounds more realistic than heaven/hell.
I was bought up as a Christian but I don't believe much of it so I'm more of an Athiest.
