My 6 month old eats about 1/3 of a jar ( stage 2) for breakfast and a whole jar for lunch and dinner. My son is nursed so I don't know about the bottle thing.

Every 7 month old is different. My 7 month old eats a bit of cereal and about 3 ounces of fruit for breakfast, cereal and 2-3 ounces of vegetables for lunch and around 2 ounces fruit and 2 ounces vegetable for dinner. She drinks about 20 ounces of formula a day (4 bottles of 5 ounces). However, I know many babies at this age eating so much more than my daughter, so it really depends on the size and appetite of the baby.

when my son was about 7 months old, he woke up and had some cereal (oatmeal at that age, he liked it better). i made it with milk in the morning (i alternated milk one morning and juice the next). then i gave him about 2oz of milk. the next meal was a bottle of however much he was drinking at the time, next meal he had a jar of baby food and a small bottle, then next a bottle, then before bed more cereal and a small bottle. the older he got the more full bottles i replaced with a jar of baby food of the appropriate meal (dinner foods, or fruits etc) and a small bottle, but always made sure he had enough milk during the day. he weaned himself at 11months and used sippy cups and real milk, he wouldn't drink formula in a sippy.

I know I'm old school and doctors don't agree, but what is wrong with the old way and start that baby on soft table food.ex. potatoes, mashed up vegetables. They are more apt to sleep through the night and it doesn't cost nearly as much as baby food in the jars.
If you don't agree with that.. make your own baby food and freeze in ice cube trays. Two cubes equals a serving and you don't have to worry about all the preservatives.
About bottles just remember that sucking on a bottle with anything other then water at night will hurt their teeth.

For awhile when I was a kid I ate peanut butter and miracle whip sandwiches. Or I would just get up in the middle of the night and eat the miracle whip right out of the jar. My mom would eat peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. When people hear that they think I'm gross

My doc said that their formula will decrease as they move towards a year. 18-30 ounces and food is abot right for 6-8 months.

32 oz total of formula per day. There isn't a norm for solid food at this age as they are still practicing how to eat.
