It is a beautiful drive and you will miss a lot of great things worth seeing. But, yes, it is possible. Eat in the car and make only 10 minute stops for food, potty and gas. I would try an off the main road border crossing to avoid delays or make sure you cross at a not too busy time. Better yet, stay in Calgary. It is a much better city.

I'd expect snow and ice on the roads in some areas, mountain passes in particular, heavy rain if you go through Washington or BC coastal areas, and possibly storms that bring snow. And very cold weather is a distinct possibility. You need snow tires, and your car needs to be in shape for winter driving. Check weather and road reports before you leave and along the way.

Are you excluding border crossing time? It's going to be crazy for the next few days till they find all those Egyptians they lost. I hope you have more than 1 driver. Don't want to find you at the bottom of a canyon because you micro-napped!

Possible, but crazy IMO. Bring a friend and lots of caffeine. Enjoy the trip!
