Many people are under the impression that shingles is only a topical distress. One can have shingles on the brain as an example. If your wife was told they are inside, perhaps they were refering to the virus that runs thru the nerves. When I get them, I get shooting pains in my head that attack like a spasm. I haven't found anything yet to ease the pain....you are not suffering alone. Good luck.

I had Shingles for the first time a few weeks ago. I am normally in good health and haven't had any other health challenges before, so it came as a surprise.

Shingles is probably the most painful thing I have ever encountered. I went to the doctor, and he gave me some prescription drugs to take that was suposed to help, but didn't.

My wife found the Fast Shingles Cure ebook online and bought it for me, I am very lucky to have such a wonderful woman in my life. We followed the book, did what it said, and it delivered what it promised. Finally my Shingles rash is over... I feel truly blessed and thankful.

After chicken pox, the Varicella Zoster virus is going dornant in our physique. For motives not entiely understood, in some persons the virus reactivates alongside a unmarried nerve root to offer the function rash of shingles. I somewhat have in no way seen it on the two components of the physique. the exterior over the shoulder blade is innervated with the aid of the spinal nerves termed T-2 to T-5. it is common to be sure which root is in touch extra noticeably in case you pinpoint the place the rash is in front, regardless of if that's specifically for acedemic purposes and has little touching on consequence on your case. Itching is maximum severe close to the lesions, yet varys broadly in some persons. The era of indicators varies from man or woman to man or woman. that's generally shorter in youthful persons, yet could be painful and prolonged interior the elderly.

Yes it usually hits one side of the body and it is very painful. is your dr giving her anything for the pain? and the itching? she will be very tired and in pain.even after the virus takes its course. she needs a lot of rest . and she should eat foods that are healing to the nerves because it affects the nerve endings. it is from the same virus as chickenpox. it is called herpes zoster. if you see the red bumps calamine lotion might sooth it some. I am on messenger by the name of sun_ny2 I have had it when I was 22. on my arm and upper body. it is unexplainably painful and I understand when a person is older it can be even more severe. sooth the skin anyway you can. get something for the pain from your doctor.esp if it is on her head then it goes very deep.not just on the surface of the skin. and fluids ,drink fluids .

Has she been under a lot of stress lately? lower her stress level.take care of her and she needs a lot of rest.
