Yes just make sure that you use the right kind of paint. Like is the outside of your TV plastic most are, but some are set in wood cabinets. You will also want a paint that is washable.

Absolutely, and this is how you do it. Go to Home Depot(other places might have it, but I've gotten it at HD) to the paint department and ask them for the spray that will allow you to use regular spray paint on plastics. This is a spray that you just spray on any plactic, polyurethane or whatever. Let it dry and you can use ANY color or type of spray you want. This makes your choices almost limitless to match any color you want. have fun

I don't see why not. That's a pretty cool idea!
I'd use a paint that stays on plastics. You might want to mask of all areas that you don't want paint and use a plastic spray paint.
You can find this at auto parts stores/home repair stores.

I think it would be okay. You would probably need to put on a primer and then seal it. Other wise if you bump it the paint will scrap off and you'll see the actually TV color underneath.

I agree with the first and third answerers. Just be careful about speakers (they don't work so well with paint on the voice coil) and of course any other controls.

Sure, just make sure you get paint that will bond to plastic.
