im just looking for a short weekend trip after the wedding to spend with my new hubby, we're saving our money for a huge honey moon later in the spring, but we're getting married in november and want it to be cozy and romantic for now

Galveston Texas or Houston is real nice for a weekend visit. I used to live in Houston and it was soooooo much fun because there is so much to do in a city! Congratulations on getting married!

I had a low key honeymoon in New Orleans and loved it. Everything is really cheap right now, since the tourists aren't coming back, so its a good time to go. They have some great spas, fancy restaurants, and its a lovely place to walk around as a couple.

Galveston, Houston, Dallas, and my all time fav. is San Antonio, very pretty and you should really check out the river walk there, very, very nice.
