Statistics are just that, statistics. They never are for real. This little demonstration seems slightly skewed since it compares all colors(non-whites) against only whites. Non-whites include Asian, African, Latino, Aborigines, Native Americans, etc.... that throws it off, it's biased.

It is not even close to reality. No one said Americans 'ruled the world'. We do accept other creeds, religions, etc. We just don't accept ILLEGAL INVADERS. Our world is always changing, but that is one thing "We the People" won't change, at least not yet.

Why do you pro-illegal immigrant supporters always look for something to justfy illegal entry? Do you not understand it is against the law, illegal, wrong? If it were simply coming across the border and working and paying taxes and assimilating and not protesting, demanding rights you don't have, calling Americans filthy names, dragging up things from history that are just that 'history', trying to divide our cultures, the illegal would not be so despised by Americans, but it's a done deal now. They can be, will be and are being deported. We don't back down. Illegal invaders can try to justify their criminal actions but there is no justification in it. Illegal is illegal is illegal and nothing else will change it. Tuff.

Thank you for your opinion. However, I would say that this is an obvious statement. Those who still perpetuate hate have more than likely heard this or some variation thereof. They just don't care.

On another note: America is not the only 'isolationist' country out there. Nor have we done it for the longest or felt it deepest. I think alot of the recent change in attitude (public attitude as I believe our dislike for outsiders is less than before) may have alot to do with the world outcries against the States. I'm not copping a 9/11 warcry here...... I'm just saying that we spend alot of time hearing how we're worthless, stupid and lazy. Why in the world would we seek people out if that's the message we get back?

About the link:
1. Whites seem to be the minority........
2. As a Native American....... am I a US/Canadian or an Asian?

Again, very fine and dandy, and lovely ideals ... but I'm afraid there really is nothing xenophobic or isolationist in wanting the immigration to one's country to be legal ... from wherever ... if you look at for example Canada's and Australia's immigration policy, you'll see that both are much stricter than ours, and based on what is good for the host country ... what skills they need, etc., etc. All nations are required to take in political refugees and asylum seekers, these countries and the U.S. are no exception ... but where does it say that everybody, from everywhere, should be allowed to come in at will ... with an unknown and unknowable number with no paperwork ... we don't know who they are, where they are from, what their intentions are ... that goes for anyone, whether they're from China, Germany or, dare I say it, Mexico .... you are comparing apples with oranges .... this country will of course always be changing, but could we for God's sake put a bit of order in it as well?

America has one of the most liberal immigration policies on the planet and one of the most open boarders. Is it too much to ask that we check people who come here to make sure they're doing it legally? The 911 commission report states that our boarders must be secure and that the current porous boarders are a critical concern to national security.

Very interesting, I have seen something like that before posted in a window at my high school. I have also heard that if you are a home owner with 2 vehicles in ANY condition you are among the 6% wealthiest people in the world.

Golden,

You better believe it. I am sick of that poem by now, and we aren't allowed inside now, anyhow.

However, it did reflect an era that existed, and we are entitled to keep momentos of that era, even once it is past.
