You should be able to open an account at any bank.

Don't expect credit -- but they will be happy to hold your money.

It depends on the bank, but some banks do not take that into consideration when they are looking to see if they would approve you for a checking/savings account. In fact, I don't know if they can. It would only depend on if your bankruptcy caused you to be charged off to another financial institution, because then that would stop them from opening your account.

If you have cash, you can open an savings/checking account. If you want to open an account with a check, they can do that too, but you can't withdraw anything until the check clears.
