My friend is 24 and a girl.Lately we have been hanging out more than I can ever remember --it has been nice. She also has been calling me ALOT and sometimes we just talk about whatever is on our minds.we were supposed to go out last night but she couldnt find a babysitter for her daughter so she was forced to stay in.she called me twice last night to apologize for not being able to go out.she also said she was definitely going to go out tonight n i told her to call me today once she made plans.i havent heard from her and she is not home, so basically she went out without me.its not a huge deal im wondering why she couldnt have at least called to let me know what was up. why the sudden change in her?

It doesn't sound like she's looking to blow you off if you two have been talking so much and then she calls you multiple times last night to say sorry that you two couldn't go out. As to why you havn't heard from her today? Who knows. Why are you freaking out about it when you have all of tomorrow to figure it out?

You don't know what's happened. Maybe she was in a car wreck or her phone broke. Wait to hear the full story (ask in a non-confrontational way) and then decide. Sounds like she's into you for at least some good friendship; that's worth much more than a non-friend date type thing.

Communications are very important, but don't jump to conclusions. When you get a hold of her, with just a little sarcasm say "what happened to you? I waited on you to call." Then give her the chance to explain what happened. Stuff like that happens, everyone makes mistakes. Or it could have been something she couldn't help. If she's your freind forgiveness should always be available.

I wouldn't get upset about it just yet. She may have had some sort of emergency, you never know. Maybe she did go out with friends and felt bad about it so she didn't tell you.
