Not too familiar with the breed, but smaller breed dogs usually have 1-5 pups in a litter.

I raised Cairn's for a long time. Usually 1 to 5. Our average was 4 most of the time.....we did have a liter of 7 once (but 2 did not survive). They are great dogs!

Up to 5 is not uncommon, 1 to 3 is usually the case, although one of my customer's cairn's had 7 in her second litter. (All 7 lived).

Depends on how many ti mes you bred her. the more times they are allowed to breed the smaller the puppies and easier to have also.I think the male should be a little smaller than the female. I would say 4 to 5. depends on her size also
