Assuming that you have been doing this regularly before you got pregnant of course.

I assume that doing crunches and ab exercises where you put pressure on your belly is out.

Of couse, I will not sue any of you for your answers and check with my doctor as well, but I am interested in what your experiences have been when continuing to exercise regularly while pregnant.

Thanks!

you can continue with most of your pre-pregnancy workout routines.. the elliptical will be fine.. and you're right.. don't do abs or crunches... don't lie on your back for more than 5 min at a time (so basically just stay off of it..) just listen to your body a little bit more, and don't exercise to the point of exhaustion.. 30 minutes a day is a good amount and don't push it... make sure you're getting plenty of water before, during, and after.. if you feel any pressure in your belly stop, try emptying your bladder, get a drink of water and rest a minute before continuing... good luck with the pregnancy..

Do what your bodies tells you is right. I think you are doing a great thing for you and please continue when appropriate after the birth. What a wonderful example you will set for your child!

I had to stop the weight training early on, but the aerobics I continued until my belly got very large, at the end of my 8th month
