I can honestly say that my mom is my best friend; what about you girls? On a scale of 1-10 how close is your relationship...I'm taking a survery so be honest with your rating and explanation!

10 - We had it rough growing up and I can honestly say my mom did a lot of bad things but after I put all of that beside and let my heart forgive her, we have gotten really close and she is my best friend.

My mom and I are best friends.
We butt heads, because we are so much alike. After I rebelled a few years back and moved 3 hours away with my boyfriend... things were very strained. I think we have worked past it all now though. That same boyfriend is now my husband and my mom was so involved (the key planner) in the wedding. We're moving back to my hometown in a week and I couldn't be more excited.
Our relationship is by far a 10!

I am going to have to say an 8. I have a lot of issues with jealousy that I may or may not be in right to. My mom does everything with my baby sister. Goes to all her kids ball games. They go shopping and out to eat. I have more luck asking my dad to watch any of my kids than her, even though 50% of the time one of my other sisters kids are there. Now, mind you, I don't have as much time as my sister because my job is more demanding and I have 4 kids to ration my time with instead of her 2, but.... She can't explain the fact she doesn't come to my kids ball games and she does hers when they are on the same field and in the same place. The only time I seen her at the ball field was when my sister was playing at the same time or in a later game and she would come a few minutes early so she wouldn't miss it. Then she would be like, "oh, I didn't know Jessica was playing tonight." I PRINTED OUT THE SCHEDULES FOR HER. Anyway, this started when we were teens.... I was the middle child... yada yada yada.... No, I don't have issues, I just know there isn't as much of a place in her heart for me as there is for my sister. So, instead of a 10, I would have to say and 8. When I really really need her, she is there.

My mom and I are very close. We talk about 5-6 times a week. She is always there for me and will help me whenever I need it and she knows same goes here.
As a teen our relationship was difficult (rebellious), but now that I am an adult with children of my own our relationship is great. I would scale it at about a 9.

I'm happy for you but i don't have the same relationship with my mom. I would say were about a 4.I love her and respect her but she is just not maternal. If i ask her to go shopping or to lunch she makes an excuse not to. She loves me and did the best she could but i hope I'm a completely different mom then her and her mom. unfortunately my family is not close and i have to say that maybe if my mom was more loving she would pull her family together to be a real family.

At first when i was younger, my mom was like my best friend. But now that im getting older we do have our fuss and fights, but i always know that i can go 2 her if i ever need her. So i would have to rate our relationship a 8.

My mom and I are starting to get a lot closer than we have been since I was a little girl. I would rate it about a 7. We have a lot of differences but I am grown now and going through a lot of the same things she went through with me, with my kids. I have a lot of respect for her now.

I'll give it an 8, we're both pretty close but we tend to argue a little bit and disagree a little bit. Also, I don't tell her everything, like my feelings, my love life, etc. But we do get along great anyways.

8910 depending on the day she holds me like im 10 but than at the same time i give in to her she is my main heart but overall 10 cause without her i dont think i could live
