Lions are totally territorial. It would not be fear but rather a desire to stay alive. I would be over here instead of anywhere near there. There is a reason for that lion p---. It is built-in instincts that put it where you find it out in nature. I would think it also has something to do with securing a food supply. Unless I was another lion and felt like a rumble, I would rather laze in the sun with the ladies, if it is all the same to you... a sedative and delightful image... our house cats are marking their territory all the time, but they also groom each other just as often, so it is very clear those wild animals out in nature instincts are different in your average house cats. Our house cats use the sides of their faces. They rub their saliva glands against furniture.. bureaus, sides of desks, &c., and nobody seems to get all ruffled up by it. But out in the wild, it's see you later if you want to keep on breathing if you come across a tree so marked as you have suggested. Take good care, and be advised. - C.

No. Even real cats rather than pretend cats are not scared of lion piss. They may be scared of lions but not their piss.Lion piss only warns them that there are lions about. But cats generally don't get to smell or see lion piss because they are 2 busy watching big brother on tv and the air fare to the jungle is quite a lot 4 a cat. Even the cats in tropical countries will have to travel some way to smell the coffee if u get the drift.

According to a guide that was conducting a tour in a national park in South Africa. When they moved the lions in, unconscious, he got lion's pi$$ on this boots. That evening when he went home his dog and cat went crazy, acting in a very defence manor. These are animals that had never seen a lion or lived in the wild, it is just part of the animal instinct that us human have become less aware of.
