Times have changed. Technology has risen and the internet allows people to meet all types of different people. While it is dangerous there are many good people out there looking for the same thing. Love.

I've had my luck finding the love of my life on the net. It's worth it and it gives a relationship the flare that a normal face-to-face relationshuip doesn't have. The feelings are stronger, more intense. At least in my opinion. Then, when you finally meet the person the world slows down and stops for you at that moment. It's quite amazing! But, we must remember that there are sickos out there and we have to choose carefully and always be alert.

Good luck to all on the amazing journey that is online love! The pain yet enxitement it brings...

Even before the internet, dating has always been about probability. You have to increase your odds to get a better chance of meeting Ms. Right. The landscape for the "hunt" has changed completely. Whereas before, you would have been likely to hang out at your favorite bars and clubs, hoping to get some numbers or at least some eye contact, now you have the ability to score literally hundreds of addresses from an online dating site within minutes. The odds of meeting someone have skyrocketed because of the blessed computer chip. Internet dating has increased the amount of chances someone will say yes to your offer. That's why so many people have found love on the internet. As my uncle John always use to say, "Talk to ten girls a day, sleep with two of them the next day."

life is too complicated now - people are working all the time and they can hardly go out to meet members of the opposite sex. So they find love over the internet. Furthermore, internet provides the annonymity first and they can chat first and then exchange photos so people can make a choice to meet or not. If they like the look, then they arrange to meet. Of course, the cons of all these is that there are a lot of internet cheats around!

Unless they have met this person and spent some time with this person.. I doubt that it would be called love. My opinion is.. you cant love someone you never met. You can be in love with the idea of this person they portray or whatever they have been told, however nothing is true love until these people have met, shared, gotten to know each other and spent some time together.
