As a christian, I would have to say no. But I mean, if you are for sure going to marry this person than why not.

biblically NO! Just because your friends are having sex does not mean that you have to be like them. If you can wait till the right person comes along in your life, and marriage is in the picture you will be glad that you waited. even if your friends did not. Lots of people when they got married have wished that they have waited. It does not matter if you are a guy or a girl, waiting in this case is better.

If you are ready to do it, are of age (preferrably 18+), are mature enough to, are responsible and practice safe sex, then I believe it is ok. That is in my own opinion.
