i dont want my family around gangs?
why is it bad to want to live someplace nice where we can be safer and my kids wont be exposed to that type of lifestyle?

I agree with you - we don't have many gangs up here - but you can't get away with anything here because when you're the new guy people watch your every move and report it to the cops. You will get caught if you break a single rule. People will see to it. It has nothing to do with skin color, but we like our little community and we feel responsible to keep it safe.

Ummm that doesn't make you a racist or a moron! It's not a bad thing to want to move your family, I am going thru something similar.....it's not fun when one of your kids comes home from school and asks you what has to be done to be initiated into a gang!! Whoever said you was racist is a total moron!! (my opinion)

You're not! That's typical name calling for pro illegal people. They use that word everytime for anyone who wants our laws enforced. I think it's great that you want to protect your kids from trash and gang members. I would feel the same way if I had children. That's the normal instincts of a parent. You wouldn't be a good parent if you didn't feel that way.

it doesnt sound like you are raciest, you just want the best for you and your family that is perfectly normal, i do admit im not raciest but when i see ghetto people, including all races but mainly blacks, i do get scared and un comfortable, if people didnt dressthe way they did and hang out in big groups then maybe we wouldnt think so less of them and be overprotective, , but its not a bad thing ot want to live in a safe environment,

Of course nobody wants to be around violence.
But really question yourself. Is it really because you truely want the safest enviornment for your kids or is it because you want to shield them from minority groups (Blacks, hispanics, asians, middle eastern, jews, native americans) that unfortunatly are stereotyped as being violent and poor.
