Are you just looking for date ideas? Don't know what kind of budget you're on, but find an activity you both like and have a blast. Buy a dual-line kite and spend some time at the park or beach together and try to get it up into the air. Rent a high-end car for the day and just go places. Go to a dance studio and get ballroom dancing or ballet or hip-hop lessons. Just about every town has some kind of historic center, go get some culture. There's got to be some other dating ideas on line if you search around. Good luck.

Just go out for a nice dinner, and then a walk about just to make conversation. Or you may have an activity planned. The idea for a first date is just to see if you feel comfortable together. You should not worry about sex.
It sounds like you are high school aged.. if so, the only awkward part should be the good-bye. If you shake hands good-bye that usually means you didn't like her. If you try to kiss her you may not get the response you wanted, so if you're not sure of things then a hug good bye is acceptable for a first date.

I don't know your age, but presume you're pre college and probably high school. My first date I was 24, so I was probably older than you are now.
For my first date, we met each other at my girlfriend's college campus and had lunch at the student center. We talk about her life and childhood, then we talked about mine. We were at lunch probably for about a good two hours or so, just talking. After lunch we head out to a shopping center and just walked around. Then we went to dinner and talked some more about our lives and what we've done thus far.
The evening went very well and there was no kissing or sex at the end. We dated for six years and have been married for six, so I guess we are doing all right.
Get to know each first... really get to know each other. Make sure you're compatible and share the same interests.

You should be trying to get to know each other. Ask her questions and tell her a little about yourself too. See what you have in common and what you don't. Talk about your families, your favorite foods, activities, movies etc. Make her laugh! It's good that sex isn't "part of the program" on a first date!
