started to date to forget him also I was hurt. six months later I got pregnate and stood w/babys father for the baby yet I was not in love w/him & he knew I loved my boyfriend. Later I left baby's father 5yrs later.(he was violent & mean.) years later i contacted my ex to explain but he doesn't want to talk to me.Why? not happy till I can explain.

He might not be interested in rehashing the distant past. I can tell it affected you quite a bit, but there may be nothing you can do about it as far as talking to him is concerned. Maybe you could send him a card and a note, but don't send a long, detailed letter. That way, you've at least gotten it off your chest. Then, let it go.
And don't let SmartySlacks bother you. She sounds like a bit of a dim bulb, and rude, too. Like she's going to stay young forever.

1968 was a long time ago. Your ex is probably happy and has moved on. If he hasn't and has waited for you all these yrs. that would be sad. Write him a letter to explain and leave it at that. move on there are plenty of other people out there.

there could be so many reason maybe he is happily married and he doesn't want temptation because he really likes you. it could be related to why you broke up if i were you i would just write a letter pray on it that he will read it and never worry about it again leave it in God's hands you could always tell him to write you anytime or let you know somehow he got it. at that point you should be happy because you have done all u can do and leave it alone Godbless you!

love does not know what time or age is age. i know that i still care for my ex and it has been about 20 yrs since we broke up. i would love to chat with my ex again like we used to. but she has moved on and gotten married and so have i. maybe you could send him a note and see if he ever responds. i would.

He's found his own closure and has put this behind him. Forget about it, you had your reasons for breaking up with him no matter how silly there were and it's time to put it in the past too.

Only he knows why. It would be nice if he shared his reasons with you, and I think he should, but he certainly doesn't have to.
