Is this based on the assumption that gays spend all their time having sex and skipping down sidewalks blowing kisses?

Question for homosexuals- How does being gay affect your 'lifestyle' a lot, or not much at all?

If you're gay, any lifestyle you choose is a gay lifestyle.

And my definition of gay is anyone who likes to take a particular foreign object up a certain part of their anatomy.

Well, I'm gay, and I have a pretty normal life. I have feelings and emotions and I'm a person just like you! I have a normal job, I have friends who accept me for who I am. I go on dates, I go to work, I pay my bills, eat right and exercise....all the stuff a "normal" heterosexual does.

Any and all assumptions are just based off of stereotypes created by either the media or those that are against it which are usually the ones that are completely clueless about it. Sex is just but one very very small part of my life. I don't skip down the sidewalk or hit on every guy I see. I don't drive a lame car, I don't talk with a lisp or have a limp wrist. I am just me. Most people don't even know I am gay and when I came out to my friend she was like "yea I know but the only reason I knew is cuz you've never had a girlfriend, you're a pretty normal guy" If you've ever seen the show Will and Grace I'm much more like Will than Jack. No flamboyant behavior here.

I think it was a term made up to refer to all the sterotypes people have of homosexuals and how they live.

I'm not a homosexual, but from my friends who are it seems that the only thing about their lifestyle that gets affected by their being gay is issues with being with their partner in public.

The ideal gay lifestyle, THE WIGGLES posters everywhere, the word "fabulous" in every sentence, and a closet full of black leather. Other than that, an unusally clean place in baby colors like light blue and pink, and a really lame car. (And I am not gay, btw) Oops, almost forgot the collection of Broke Back Mountain movie posters, the Elton John CD collection, and something to do with Michael Jackson and Vanilla Ice, lol.

The only thing it really affects is what gender I sleep with. I'm happily married to another woman. I am a professional singer/actor and will soon be practicing entertainment law. My wife is in nursing school. We even have a child. We're not that different from anyone else actually. We have just learned to accept others for who they are regardless of whether or not we agree with it.

I don't see how this relates to religion or spirituality, but....

The gay lifestyle doesn't exist. It's like the gay agenda -- a mysterious boogyman to scare the conservatives.

What is a "straight" lifestyle? You go around with your friends talking about your life, your dreams and your desires, who you want to date and who you don't want to run into. What you want to do that nite for fun and don't want to do.

We do the same thing. We just relax a little more doing it. Sometimes we may act a little sillier or NOT. Depends.

It is not based on that the notions that you talked about. If you want to find out more about it, read "Are Gay Rights Right?" by Roger Magnuson.

The life apposed to God's standard for relationships, marriage and our relationship to God.
Essentially, a perversion of a sacred union established by a Holy God.
