She also buried some plastic gloves I had set out for the cat sitter to use when I was gone, her litter scoop, and other things in the litter box when I had been gone for a couple of days. Has anyone had this type of experience?

Easy one. Your cat probably thinks it is human. Would you leave a human child home alone? Well, your cat is ticked. She sees you brush your teeth twice a day and decided that you loved the toothbrush. You hurt her feelings, she is going to hurt yours. Don't like it, good. Remember, you raised that cat. Treat her the way you raised her. Treat her like a human being. She loves you, bring her with you on your trips.

you do not choose her to bury it, at the same time as she does she will be in a position to scatter the clutter all around the floor around the container. in case you keep the container clean it shouldn't stink. i could recommend a distinct clutter. Tidy cat with scent soaking up crystals works reliable with my 3 cats, and that i will bypass an afternoon or 2 without cleansing it out.

Your little kitty was very, very,VERY, angry at you and let you know it in no uncertain terms. Just buy a new toothbrush, throw away the gloves and clean up the scooper. Next time make sure
that you hide your toothbrush.

She was mad at you for leaving her behind in the hands of a stranger. You did get another toothbrush right?

Your cat is ticked off at you. Your cat is mad at you for living her. When I am away, my Goldie chews up some of my posters, knocks my stuff down and gets her nose into things she should not get into. It is all a sign of anger.

To show her indignation. Cats are extremely presumptious and unconsciously selfish. Dogs are just the opposite, unconditional love.

She obvously couldn't reach the paper and pens so she sent you an indirect message that she doesn't want you to go away. She's quite a clever girl!

Yep, that is one mad kittycat. She's trying to insult you and the catsitter. I'm guessing she also gave you the silent treatment at least for a little while when you got back?

I am sorry I can't take this question seriously. I am laughing SO HARD that I can't type any longer and am going to get my dinner.

Toothbrush in the litterbox, it's just hysterical.
