The most tangible example is love of parents for their child. For those fortunate to have felt the unconditional support of loving parents, the power of love is understood.

Often we confuse sexual desire with love. Although it can be part of love, it is not love.

Power of love is not subject to ups and downs, and as the phrase suggests, is the most powerful drive in human beings.

We all have the potential for true love.
In other words, we are pre-programmed to love and be loved.
Some people have been subjected to harshness, distracting them from their potential.
They will get back on track if they wish.

Your very question reveals your desire.

The following are symptoms of Power of Love:

care, learn, listen, help, enjoy, and be fair

Hello, toyang - the power of love is a wonderful tool for healing. There's a great article (written by a scientist!) by Dean Ornish, M.D. entitled Love and Survival, confirmed by ministers, doctors and other scientists, under the mantle of Grace Cathedral Episcopal Church:

"Love and intimacy are at a root of what makes us sick and what makes us well, what causes sadness and what brings happiness, what makes us suffer and what leads us to healing".
Here's the link:

Another great source is a book, video and dvd of Dr. Bernie Siegel's Love, Medicine & Miracles.

Yes, it's also a song recorded by Huey Lewis, Celine Dion and others.

One more thought on this. Check out this link entitled "Biker's Love is Stronger Than Death":

The greatest love of all, from the greatest power of love is our redemption through the grace of God, and the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
