One would need a donated egg and womb, but theoretically, yes. It would be like half-cloning. One chromosome from each parent. But don't forget. You need to put in the other 25 chromosomes from each parent too. It would be hard to get the right chromosomes though. It might happen.

WIth technology invented to move chromosomes around, yes
you could imagine replacing the chromosomes in an egg with
chromosomes from a male donor.
I don't believe it has been done, certainly not in humans.
Most homosexuals are happy if ONE of them can contribute
to the gene pool of the kid.

Assuming we had an advanced enough understanding of genetic engineering and cloning, we could make female babies from a lesbian couple and male or female babies from a gay male couple. Come to think of it, you don't have to just limit the splicing to the XY chromosomes... you could theoretically cut and paste chromosomes from more than one progenitor, up to 46 without splicing in, more if you do splice. Imagine having 46 parents... you'd get a lot of gifts for christmas... if they celebrated it.

Sounds like the kind of technique that might be possible in the future. Meanwhile, many gay men have fathered children while in a heterosexual relationship, and I know of two lesbian couples where one got pregnant with a sperm donor who was her partner's brother. So yeah...in a way, they already can.

that does make sence, but i dont think its possible now. It might be in the future. Right now the couples could just adopt a child. I have nothing agenst homosexuals having children, but there are some ppl that do. Just the world we live in.

it sounds viable to me, but im not sure if it would be possible. ive never heard of a child being concieved without an egg and a sperm. but then again i'm not a scientist specializing in genetics, so who knows. it may be possible one day though, and that would be amazing.

That's a weird and scary thought. It doesn't sound like it's possible, but I know absolutely nothing about it so what do I know.

That seems to make sense, but that's not possible now. I've omitted my opinion about homosexuals raising children, because you said "please no religious/moral/" answers. So this is not condoning it.
