not quite, Pat Robertson is very pro-Zionism whereas bin laden despises Israel. but in terms of being a fundies yea, they are pretty much the same.

That's a good one. But I think Osama has more sense than Pat, judging from some of Pat's statements (see the attached).
"THOU SHALT NOT KILL" -- but this doesn't seem to matter to Pat Robertson if he can call for the MURDER of a foreign leader.

Swedenborg states "a perception of the sphere of falsity from evil that flows forth from hell has often been granted me. It was like a perpetual effort to destroy all that is good and true, combined with anger and a kind of fury at not being able to do so, especially an effort to annihilate and destroy the Divine of the Lord, and this because all good and truth are from Him. But out of heaven a sphere of truth and good was perceived, whereby the fury of the effort ascending from hell was restrained. The result of this was an equilibrium. This sphere from heaven was perceived to come from the Lord alone, although it appeared to come from the angels in heaven. It is from the Lord alone, and not from the angels, because every angel in heaven acknowledges that nothing of good and truth is from himself, but all is from the Lord" (Heaven and Hell n. 538).

*LOL* Yeah, pretty much. I'd have to agree with you. Robertson is a narrow-minded, intolerant, hypocritcal, hate-mongering bigot...he's just hiding behind a different God than Osama is. (Or, if you're more pluralist: He's hiding behind the same God who's simply going by a different name)

Pat Robertson hasn't told anyone to go out and kill people. Yet. Well, maybe I haven't been paying attention. Close, though.
Now that I've read some other answers, I'll have to say really close.

well He is older, but he is still the servant of God. It is not good to make fun of a servant of the Most High God.. He is coming soon.
Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Considering all the statements he's made in the past about how the US should assassinate certain political leaders in other countries and condoning execution for non-Christians and such, yes I think so.

Funny!!!!!!! I understand your reasoning here. Just be sure you add Jerry Fawell and George W. Bush to this list, too. And there are others, too. They are all alike.

I'm sure you're capable of listing similarities and differences just like everyone else. Which in particular do you have in mind?
