i absolutely love the name aubrielle that is what i am going to name my baby if it is a girl....as for gabrielle why don't you use gabriella instead so that the names don't sound so similar and i think that gabriella sounds more feminine because gabrielle is too close to gabriel.

Way to similar. I like the name Gabrielle. Try thinking about a different name for the other. I went to school w a set of twins named emily and erin. You never could get it right. Try the name Katherine or even Elia. Elia is a name w a hebrew backround. That is one you never hear!! good luck with the twins

I agree that it will drive you crazy if the 2 names are too much alike. Too "cutsey" sounding. Both of those names are beautiful, but I would choose one of them and something else. Remember, they have to live with them forever, and you don't want people to say "Gabrielle and Aubrielle, ah how cute" every time they meet them. Besides, you'll spend your whole life calling them by each other's name, then stopping to correct yourself (HA I do that and my kids' names sound nothing alike!) My aunt named her kids Jerry, Gary and Terry and it drove her nuts trying to get them right the whole time they were growing up. By the way, congrats and enjoy them!

The names shouldn't sound alike. Try Gabrielle, Elizabeth, Arianna, Brianne, Carrie, Kaitlynn, Jessica, or other female name. You can spell them a lot of ways too. Remember, even though they're twins, they're 2 seperate & unique females.

They are both really cute names, but not together. I think that first of all it will be really hard for them to learn to spell them. Also, you have to consider how they will get twisted around or used for teasing. Maybe two names that start with "G". Gabrielle and Gretchen or Gianna

Too similiar. Twins should be encouraged to find their own separate identities, whther fraternal or identical. Having similiar names does not promote this.
Trust me, twins do not think this is cute, and they will be the ones living with it.

I have triplets, and I never thought of naming them something so similar, because I want them to be themselves- different names will help with this. My boys are named Ethan Geoffrey (which means strong, gift of peace) and Quade Royce (which means fourth son of the king). What about names that are different but have the same (or similar) meanings?
Bella Caden (beautiful fighter)
Shayna Halle (beautiful heroine)
Katherine Rosie (pure like a rose)
Kaitlyn Laverne (pure like the spring)
Desiree Saffron (desired yellow flower)
Kala Violet (beloved blue flower)
Good luck with your girls!

they are cute BUT too similar. think about it they are going to be known as the twins a lot of the time and as much fun as it sounds to have similar names at point they are going to be want to be known as two seperate people.
