A 14 year old can certainly be in love. But, it will be a different kind of love than one when you are older. You have to be an adult to have an adult and complete love.

most of the people on here are ridiculous, they say it's too young if they are old, and they say it's not if they are young.
But really I'm just speaking from my personal belief.
YES!!! you can be in love. and it can be true love, The only difference is it get's more complicating when you are older because then you have to ask yourself if you are willing to marry the person.
The Love doesn't change, the relationship goes through nessicary changes. So it feels different. But then when you've been married a long time it feels comfortable again like when you were a teen!! I think it is RIDICULOUS for the other adults answering this question to say "They are too young" It's dumb.
Then you might as well say "teenagers don't know what it is to be happy." RIDICULOUS...really think about logically the advise you give someone...You other adults only think that the younger adults (TEENS) can't be in love because it's something you want to shove in their face. You don't know the situation, and everyone is different, and feels and expierences love at different times in their lives MORE times than not they expierence REAL love when they are in their teens Much like my parents and my grandparents, and all my aunts and uncles who meet eachother when they were teens. and are NOT divorced.
so yes you can be in love. and how you will know when it is love when you won't have to question it and wonder if it's like. You'll just know.

14 year old is really too young. you have to mature to know what real love feels like. and yes there is a difference between like and love. at 14 you can like someone, and think that you love someone. but most likely you two would go seperate ways as you grow older. people change

Of course he can. Love has no age limit. The difference would probably be that you feel that that person is the most amazing person in the world. They light up your day, make you feel comfortable and special, and even make you feel like you could do anything. When you're with them, the world just stops and all you think about is that person and your feelings towards them. You discover a new meaning to life and your world brightens up and never grows dark.

A 14 yr old boy will fall in love many many times..at this age i believe you think you can be in love but TRUE LOVE comes with matuarity

If you are under 18 years old, you don't fall in love with men. You just have a crush on them. After 18, then it's actually you falling in love with a man.

I'm currently engaged to the first girl I ever dated that I asked out in the 8th grade (14 years old). The difference is you still want them around after they talk to you, or if you get sick of them after a few months it probably isn't going to get better.

I would think since the boy IS SO young he probably DOES NOT have enough life experiences to know the difference.
