I've now been single for 4 years now and its starting to get really old. I'm 34 and only 5'5" I'm starting to think its my height, or is it all in my head? are girls really that picky about a mans height?

I am 37, been single 4 1/2 years, haven't met many great guys lately. Actually, got dumped this week by a guy who couldn't bother to tell me that he was not feeling any chemistry.....I had to hear it elsewhere.
As for your height question....doubt that is any issue. At least it wouldn't be for me. I am 5'6" and to me, it depends on the man inside.

They can be. But for most girls they don't care how tall a guy is as long as they feel smally next to them and can get away with wearing heels. Girls don't like feeling bigger than their bf, part of that whole societal body issues thing we get to deal with. If I were you I'd look for short girls, it would less likely be an issue for them. If you exude a lot of confidence and are super cool, alot of girls won't even notice that your not very tall. Its mostly about how you present yourself.

It isn't all about what you look like. I suggest go out more though. Some girls are really picky, and there are girls shorter than you. Give it time...you'll meet a great girl soon. Goodluck!

My boyfriend is shorter than I am and because of that I can't wear heels to my wedding. There is nothing wrong with being short. I think it is cute.

There are plenty of women that are shorter than you. You just need some self confidence and put yourself out there. You will meet someone.

Many girls are...I am 5'6" and my hubby is 5". So there is a big height difference...If I wear heels...well you can imagine....We don't slow dance...
