I'm going through the same thing right now. You want him to hurt? Make him feel like the jackass hereally is. Be strong though, don't cry, just act pissed.

Find out why the person cheated. Both sides are to blame for someone having an affair, but not always.

I think that life is too short to hold a grudge and either you forgive him and get over the hurt or you need to move on and find someone who is going to be faithful.
Some believe once a cheater, always a cheater.

I'd keep my eyes open if he cheats once he will cheat again. Also be aware of the many STD's that are around. Protect yourself.

Stop going out with him. You're not in charge of his punishment, per se, but you can make damned sure you're not in for more punishment yourself. That may have the residual effect of hurting him in the process or it may not, but you will definitely be protecting your own interests, which should be of primary concern. Best wishes in this regard.

why? If he is not hurting that he hurt you then he may not care as much about you as you want him to or think he should. He did cheat on you already......you deserve better...don't you?

Why should he be hurting? If he cheated on you, he doesn't care about you. If you keep him around, he will have his cake and eat it too. Kick him to the curb.

It's bye bye time! If you take him back, then he'll just learn that cheating is an acceptable behavior. You owe yourself more than that!.
