Depends on who you talk to
The conservatives want to claim him as their own, but his actions would brand him a liberal. Nobody would be happy politically, but then again, Jesus isn't supposed to be a political figure.

* If Jesus were alive now a days, and a US Citizen,
* do you think he would be a liberal or conservative?
If the Israelite/Hebrew Jesus was alive now a days
and at the same time a U.S. citizen ?
Jesus would definitely be liberal when it was called for
and conservative at other times !

Liberal. Jesus would want change from the lives today, as in filled with and in general stuff that is against his teachings. He'd probably want reform for the way society is.
This doesn't mean that he'd join a political party though. He'd recognize the faults in each of them and leave them alone.

Liberal. The render unto Caesar quote implies taxes and Jesus was for giving charity. Therefore, he approved of the tax and spend method. In general, democrats are more in favor of helping the poor, so I'd say liberal.

Liberal
In the Bible, Jesus's teachings were very liberal for that day and age. That's why they wanted to put him on the cross.

Are you serious? No question, he was hippie. Of course he would be a liberal. And from the looks of pictures of him, probably in a classic rock bank like Three Dog Night.

He is alive. But hypothetically, if he was a US citizen, he'd be a conservative because he isn't for gay marriage, abortion, or a lot of other things that liberals are in favor of.

Jesus is alive and cares nothing about liberalism and conservatism.
He wasn't in political party groups when he was on earth was he?

Liberal probably. Throwing money changers out of the temple doesn't exactly sound like capitalism. Of course, he hang out with a hooker, so some forms of commerce didn't bother him too much.

First, he wouldn't be an American Citizen - he'd be an Isreali citizen
Second, he wouldn't belong to either party because he is all about seperating church and state - give unto Ceaser what is Ceaser's.
