Tell him you understand he's upset. Reassure him nothing happened, (only if nothing happened) Try to reassure him it won't happen again only if you can promise that it won't happen again. Try to approach this from his perspective ...what if the shoe had been on the other foot and it was you who had been out of town and some girl, " just" drove him home. Perhaps he's just being insecure but if you really love him and want the relationship to grow understanding,& empathy is the best way to go. Also, just explain to this other guy that you want to respect your boyfriend and you've agreed between yourselves not to do anything the other person might not feel comfortable with the other doing whether they are in town or not! good luck...

It could be a number of reasons why he is mad at you for this. He may be insecure about ya'lls relationship. He may have baggage from a past relationship. He may not trust you...
The best way to find out what the problem is would be to have a heart to heart converstaion with him about ya'lls relationship and find out what he expects and you tell him what you expect. Ask him why he is so mad about the guy taking you home, and talk about the strong trust factor that you guys must establish from this point on in order to maintain a heathly relationship. Don't interupt him while you two have this conversation...Be a good listener and listen to everything he says about why he is angry and then you tell him how you feel and he listen. Then you guys come to an agreement about this situation and if he no longer wants you to get rides home from other guys, then respect his wishes and find another means of transportation.
Two important keys to a successful relationship are trust and respect for one another.

i would be mad too,now how did he find out on his own or did you tell him! if he found out on his own then that does not look good. how you feel if a girl dropped him off at home while you was out of town? i can tell you in the back of his head is the possibility that you had sex with the guy. in the future allways keep him informed and dont get any more rides home from a guy. but if it were me i would say you cheated on me and would cut you loose. it is very hard for a man to trust! so once you get there DONT MESS IT UP cause once you break it it's gone!

at first I thought it said you went home with the guy lol. He just took you home.
There's shouldn't be anything wrong in that ... the guy was just being a gentlemen and driving you home.
Tell your boyfriend he has two options.
1) He can trust you, and take your word that nothing happened and move on from the whole situation , or ...
2) he can find another girl, because you don't need to be with a guy who doesn't trust you.

Would he have rathered you walked home in the dark by yourself? If the answer is "yes," then I would tell the boy to take a hike until he learns to deal with things like a mature MAN!

My boyfriend is the same way. The only thing you can do is say look, I had no other way home..I wasn't walkin. thats all there was. If you'd been home, I would have called you. I'm sorry you got mad....
It probely wont' work, but he should get over it.

Your boyfriend sounds weak and insecure. You need to decide whether you want to continue in a relationship with someone like that.
Would he have preferred it if you walked home? How silly.
He has issues.

Tell him to pull his head in and get over it.........
If you told him nothing happened between you and your work colleague and it was just a ride home then he should trust you and move on..........If not he can speak to your work colleague about it but that shouldn't even be necessary.. He'll cool down and get over it I'm sure ;-)
