The wedding party pays for their own attire unless the bridal couple offers to do so. This is accepted etiquette.

There is two ways to go about this....In today's world the bridemaids pay for their own dresses, and the groomsmen pick up the tab for the tux. Or, you can the bride can pay for dresses, and the groom pay for the tuxedo rentals... For my wedding I paid the dresses to be made, and for my daughter's I purchased the dresses, and the girls paid for their shoes...Well, I paid for part of the shoes, all the girls were in college, so I tried to shouldar the costs for them. So, it's up to you....If the girls pay for their own dresses, try to find something affordable. If the guys all go the same rental place, the groom could end up with a free tux...something to check into, saves for other important stuff.
In the bride magazines they usually have the lists for who pays for what in them. Plus you get some good websites for napkins, glasses, and even honeymoon spots. God bless us all..........

Some tuxedo shops will rent the groom's tuxedo for free with the paid rentals of the groomsmen.
Groomsmen ALWAYS pay for their own rental. (Unless it is a gift from the bride and groom)

From everything I have seen and experienced personally, the wedding party supplies thier own dresses/tuxes, unless the bride/groom have offered to pay for it themselves.

Attendants typically pay for their own attire. That goes for the brides attendants and the grooms. Flowers for them are paid for by the groom.

Hmm, i'm no longer liking the assumption of a tan tux with a blue tie. A white tux sounds cool, yet has she given theory to a intense-high quality white greater wholesome and a properly-known tie? A tux is in order that formal, it is going to look out of place at a sea coast wedding ceremony. or possibly basically a vest and bow tie, no jacket?

I always thought that the groomsmen and the bridesmaids all paid for their own attire. If not, someone owes me some cash!
