It depends - do you wait until night to pray as well? If yes, then I would say yes to your question. God should come first. If you want to do your devotions at night that is OK - but first thing in the morning you need to talk to him and put him first in your day. You will be amazed at how much better your day is. You should pray during the day too.

If I eat breakfast before I pray, does it mean I love food more than God? No! It means I'm hungry, it's morning. If you do your devotions at night you have a better view of what you need to pray about because you've already committed whatever sins you're gonna commit! Right!

by your argument, if you do ANYTHING except devotionals you put it before God. It Doesn't matter when or If you do devotionals so long as you keep your thoughts and actions according to God.

I think this is just a better time for you. Everyone is different, we're just used to hearing people talk about getting up extra early to 'make time for the Lord', but baby, if He's hearing from you every night, I'm sure He looks forward to the evenings.

Not necessarily.
Do a devotional when it works best for you. God is not a legalist about your devotional.
Cordially,
John
