u walk and meet a y intersection. there is a troll on each path. one troll always lies, one is completely honest. one path leads to a happy life, one path leads to instant death. you may ask one troll one question ONLY to find out which path goes to prosperity. what is the question? the only answer i can think of it to turn around and go back home.

ask "what will the other troll say is the path towards a happy life?" then go the opposite road.
examples: if you ask the lying troll what the other would say, he's going to say the opposite of the right one. - so you would go opposite of the one he says.
if you ask the honest troll what the other would say, he would say the wrong one- therefore, you'll go the opposite of the one he says.

You ask either troll a questions such as "is today Saturday". Assuming it is Saturday, the lying troll will say no. You then take the other path. The truthful troll will say yes and you know to take his path.
You cannot ask a question about the path since you don't know which is telling the truth, you have to ask a question that you already know the answer to.

I'm pretty sure the question is "Will that path lead to happiness and prosperity?" while pointing at one of the paths. If you point right and get "yes" go right and left if "no". Reverse if you point left while asking.

can no longer they only positioned the rock contained in the middle and basically use that as a bridge they only swim they're already there the brother hurts the sister with the rock ... meaning the brother is going to penal complex and the sister needs to circulate to the well-being facility whether i'm getting this incorrect.... the riddle helpful did make my day!!! ok its been quarter-hour!!!!

thats a really good question!! i can think of ways to see which one is lying and which one is telling the truth (( like asking whats my name )) but that wont tell you which path is which! sorry!
