the most kids born to one woman was 69. got this info from the Guinness world book of records.
It will be interesting to know that the first wife of Feodor Vassilyev of Russia gave birth to 69 children.
In her 27 confinements between 1725 and 1765, she gave birth to 16 pairs of twins, 7 sets of triplets and 4 sets of quadruplets. She holds the records for giving birth to the most sets of twins and the most sets of quadruplets

Don't know how many of the Russian woman from the 1700's children lived, but my sister has 14 children, no multiple births. I am the 3rd of 11 and my grandmother was one of 15. There is a fmily in Arkansas, called the Duggars, who have 16 children. They have been on TV and met my sister's family when they came out to California on Vacation last year, so all of them were on TV.

My mom once told me that when she was a teen there was a woman in her town that had 25 kids. Her uterus must have fell out.
