DEFINITELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the stylist is as good as their teaching was, the right stylist can suggest the right style that will compliment the client. I have just read some of the answers to this question and I have to say some people really don't have a clue what it takes to become a hairstylist. We have to know the different diseases of the hair skin and nails. On top of this we are taught the names of the bones, muscles, and nerves of the head, arms, hands and feet. And if that wasn't enough, we still have to know how to cut, style, reconmend the right styling products and know the different chemicals that are used in perming, straightening, and color, Think about it next time someone says hairstylists are college drop outs.

Well, of course the talent was from the stylist! When you see someone their stylist is not around to compliment! You don't call Calvin Klien if your friend looks great in his clothing! You are complimenting on the great look your friend has. They did go to the trouble to get the style or cut, had some of the decision making power and paid for something that looks good! The compliment is telling them they look good, thus you are making them feel good about themselves.

You mean if someone you know got a haircut you should ask
who cut the hair so you can go to the salon and compliment the hairstylist? Isn't that what a referral is all about?

Well I would think to compliment the patron receiving the haircut is actually saying that you think they have good taste. A hairstyle is what type of taste in grooming they have. A good haircut is when a hairstylist achieves the desired outcome the patron is looking to get. Just my thoughts.

Mostly because you don't know the hairstylist but you know the person...like the hairstylist isn't right there with you so you can't say "good job". I think they get praise for an awesome haircut by the person they gave it to before they leave the salon. But you're right lol. sorta.

thats like complementing the designer, not the person that put the outfit together or picked that piece of clothing out. The person that picked it is the one that deserves credit. Cutting hair is for people that couldnt make it through college. Not all that much skill involved.

You congratulated Pres Bush on his election last time but you forgot to congratulate the Voter. It is the same case here.
Normally both should be congratulated.

um NO! in case you could positioned your hair in a ponytail. i heard it replaced into really cool searching in case you shrink it with the hair tie on. so at the same time as its shrink. you ahve your hair all accrued at the same time. its meant to look really reliable. you should target that.
