work out your calves to increase jumping height. Use weights on your legs (body works but not as well) to make yourself heavier so when you take them off you feel lighter and can jump heigher. Jump rope can work too but it's not as effective. work out your calves.. that works the best (go to a gym and do leg exercises)

Increase in vertical height can come from increasing two factors

1) Strength
2) Speed

The muscles involved in vertical jump are glutes, hamstrings and calves. The exercises to improve the strength of these muscles are

Squats
Deadlifts
Power cleans
Goodmornings
Calf raises

To improve speed, plyometrics is the answer. Google for it and you'll find a lot of programs

That will help some, and it's good for cardiovascular endurance and quickness on your feet, too.

Squats and Lunges also help strengthen the leg muscles, and plyometrics will help you get the the height so you can have mad ups -- Good Luck!

A good exercise to increase leg strength is to do one-legged squats. Keep your back straight though.
