WOW LADY, that question really stirred up my gray matter.

UMM Let's see.

Cooking at home;

I have always loved pancakes. As simple as that may seem there are so many things one can do to make them taste heavenly.

I like to make them myself. Use a wee bit extra baking powder, whip the egg whites till they are almost like whipped cream then slowly, carefully fold the egg whites into the already prepared batter so as not to break the bubbles in the egg whites. Then park that big bowl on the stove and allow it to rise about thirty minutes. When you see big bubbles rising to the surface, gently ladle the batter onto a hot griddle and watch that batter fluff up. Cook till the edges start to brown turn gently. Once done apply some real butter and your favorite pie filling. I mean real pie filling like grandma made. Cherries, or blueberries, or peaches, or apple with cinnamon, or maybe even some lingonberries. They are a bit tart but man do those little guys taste yummy.
A glass of real milk will provide the finishing touch.

Now if I am away from home that is a different matter;

I love Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise sauce. Prepared properly they are scrumptious. Fruit cup on the side makes a great finishing touch.

OR,

One time I had a breakfast with baked Trout almondine and some potatoes that were small cubes smothered with a secret sauce that tasted like a blend of maple syrup and the stuff you put on Au gratin potatoes. There was a little dish with baked apple in it.

OOOH baby that was truly yummy.

Does that make you feel hungry??

First I would like to sip a Mimosa made with fresh squeezed orange juice and a delicious champagne. Perhaps sugar free skim milk almond latte on the side. For my meal I would like to have a eggs benedict with homemade hollandaise sauce that has just a hint of pepper sauce to add heat. I would like my benedict served on a grilled health nut english muffin and topped with fresh lump crab meat, steamed asparagus and grilled tomatoes. My eggs would be poached a perfect medium and everything would be laced with that delicious hollandaise sauce. On the side I would like grapefruit sections topped with carmelized brown sugar. MMMMMMM
