Check with her friends about something she would enjoy, a certain play, muscial, movie, concert, whatever.

Ask her in a nice and honest matter that you would love to accompany her for the event and would be getting the tickets later. Even if she doesn't totally like you, the treat should give her second thoughts. Push her for an immediate response as you are getting the tickets LATER. If she goes home and think about it / chat with other friends she may backed out and go with her family!!!
