My guy friend who is like a year older likes me or liked.But when he wanted to talk to me he had a girlfriend who i knew and he lied and said she wasnt.I believed but now that i look back i can tell that it was obvious that they were together. I think he still likes me.Why did he keep pursuing me when he loved her?I dont want to be the other woman i am not like that.Why did he like me when he loved her.

Its obvious that he was not serious about this other woman, or he would have been more faithful to her. He is going through the stage of trying to get all that he can. He thinks if he can have her and you, that he would have everything, but even if he had you both, he will still want others. The best thing to do right now is not be with him. He is going through a greedy stage, and hopefully he will grow out of it. If not, you are better off without him.

Why do you care what a self serving person thinks or does after he betrayed you? You do not give an age; which is totally irrelevant b/c no one should allow anyone to get a second chance at betrayal.
Trust factor is gone; the relationship is over. Move on.

First of all if he "loved" her then he wouldnt have gone after you. So the reason he did is because maybe he had a crush on you at the time, and maybe he and his gf were kind of rocky. Sometimes when you have a gf/bf and you kind of get sick of them or something then they will start to like other people.

because he is a sleaze.. if you take his bait and get with him, be prepared that he will cheat on you. You probably are not the only one he has done this too. Guys do this all the time. You should stay away from him.
And there is no way he really loves her.

it is possible, though i doubt it, that he was trying to get HIS girl suspicious. see, with guys, or at least in my experience, when the girl you're with shows a slight sign of interest in another guy... it kinda made me ...try harder
