Warts are caused by viruses. They can be frozen or burned. Either way will cause some slight pain, but nothing compared to the pain of the wart, itself. Go have them treated and don't worry about the little bit of pain involved. It really is small.

It means he's telling a white lie... it hurts a little but you'll live.
However, before you run off and mak a quick decision about getting the wart removed - you may want to consider this: Plantar warts are a papiloma virus infection of the skin and they often mend themselves without treatment of any kind. If your wart isn't a painful problem for you, give it a few months time before taking action to get it removed, but if it does hurt removing it right away won't be any worse.

what does it sound like? The doctor will administer a cold spray onto your skin for a second and then this will kill the wart off. the skin will dry and reapir itself. And no it doesn't hurt.
Freezed - you mean frozen.

It doesn't hurt. What they do is use a cold white spray on it and wait till it gets hard and remove it. It's very simple really. Don't be scared. The cold will numb it and you won't feel a thing. You can also use Compound W to remove them. It will not come back. Good luck!

No, it doesn't hurt at all. You can actually do it with the over the counter freeze off. It will take about a full 2 weeks for it to fall off. Don't worry at all, it's simple and easy. Good Luck!

Yes it hurts some. They usually spray it with liquid nitrogen which is uncomfortable but not real bad. Ironically if you truly believe a "wart charmer" will work they will usually do so. there are many ways of removing a plantars wart, but they tend to spread and are contagious to susceptible individuals, so you should have it treated

Having the doctor freeze or burn it off is the best way. He will probably deaden it with a little lydacane and there will be very little pain. I've had them on my fingers and toes. I usually got rid of them by placing a match head on them and lighting it with another match. This is painful and if you can go to the doctor it will be a lot better.

It doesn't really hurt that much, but freezing is the only way to get rid of them. Of course after the freezing, you'll need to apply something else for about 3 weeks to completely eliminate it, if you don't, it'll just grow back.
