Siam Paragon, Siam Square, Siam Center and Mah Book Klong are in the same area covering by 2 BTS stations.
Central Chidlom department store, Emporium, and World trade center, close to Pratunam area. All are along the BTS train route.
Chatuchak, Floating Market, there're lot more and don't think that your parents will take time to shop them all (I only think and imagine that if I do visit them by myself, I may need thai massage every night at the hotel).

Siam Paragon is the latest mega shopping mall that opened. It is the biggest in SE Asia. It also has the biggest food courts I have seen
