no, when they make ice cream, they churn it until its smooth, preventing large ice crystals from forming. Your refrozen mess would have very large crystals and taste rotten

The ice cream loses its taste after it melts and does not taste the same again. I have been a Catering Officer and have personally experience these incidents many times in my life.

No, it won't the qualities of the taste are different since it was melted. It is stirred when frozen and the air is let out when it melts.

I doubt it because i did the same thing and the next time i wanted some it tasted whip creamish milky type ice cream

Probably not - besides, once melted, ice cream won't freeze back to the normal consistency - it will crystallize.

Nope, almost nothing tastes the same once it's thawed out and refrozen.

No. The texture changes completely. It gets full of ice crystals and it's gross.

Not sure, but I know that if you freeze beer, and then let it thaw out again, it doesn't taste the same.
