Red and black are the colors that are most associated with a 'goth' lifestyle. Red for blood and/or passion, black for darkness and/or hate.
Basically, they are the national colors of the 'goth' nation. But for the most part, it's just so you'd post this question . . . attention.

hey i had my hair like that two years ago
and i wasn't a goth.
it got gay after a while...the red washed out to blonde
lol kinda funny
it'll probably happen to them
just the thought makes me laugh hhaahahha

it's normal goth wear.red is like blood and black is solenm and makes you look dead.mine used to be red and black now it's just
black.

Red and black are "death" colors, and the harshness of these colors can greatly washout the skin tones

I think it's like because red and black are powerful colors, and they want to look powerful. Also, you see lots of vampire drawings in red and black, right?
They just wanna look like they have a dark side...

they just prefer any colour to their natural colour as much as they dont want to admit it they want attention..they wanna stant out..way out of the ground...plus red and black --red shows confidenc..while black (no offenc) is symbolished as the colour of death..sadnesss ect..
