The whole state currently has a ban on breed specific legislation but it is being debated unfortunately.

There are several states that have bans on Pits. They believe the dogs to be dangerous, single owner dogs that can not be trained to be social pets. In Michigan, if they take a Pit Bull from you they will put it down, even if it is a little puppy that never hurt anyone. I think the laws are wrong and ignorant.
