The first thing you want to do is physically remove yourself from a volatile situation. Leave the house and go for a run, jog, or a walk. Next, physicall exercise will take some of the steam out. So try to do some strenous exercise--jogging, running, playing raquet ball, boxing, anything where you can let off a lot of that steam.
If you cannot leave the house without parental permission, tell your parents that you had a huge fight with your brother and would like to leave for a little while. Usually leaving, and taking up a hard physical activity, will get a person to calm down and enable them to deal with whatever situation better.....Good Luck

Chill out. Calm down, and when you're ready, think about what happened between the two of you. When you've thought about it, go and talk to your brother and explain your feelings and apologize (even if you didn't do anything. The sooner you apologize, the sooner the fight will be over- and even if you want to kill him now, somewhere deep inside you want to make-up, or you wouldn't have come on this site). Don't blame him, or things could get worse.

Take a deep breath. Several. All brothers are jerks when they're young. So are sisters. I used to fight with my brother horribly.
Today he and I are so close. One day you will be close with your brother too. Remember what pushes one anothers buttons and really try to be better about not letting that happen. Avoid it.
Find similar interests. Do things together. If he sees that you are making the first step to doing something nice for him or with him; trust me, he will start doing the same thing for you.
The older you get, you will find that no one will ever be there for you like your brother will. And vice versa.

I think that the most important relationship in our lives is the one we have with our siblings (for those of us who have them). It's really important that you get over the anger. Just give yourself some time and once the dust has settled you'll feel bad over the fight. I always do feel bad for shouting at my brother. Then I go to him and apologize for getting so angry with him because I really love him so much.
It doesn't matter that he's a jerk. He'll remember that you've been nice to him and apologized. Some day he'll repay you with kindness. That's really the best advice I can give :)
Good luck!

Get out of the house and go to the mall. Hang out with some friends, go to the gym. Cool off and talk about it later when both of you have calmed down.
