It all depends on the altitude of the clouds lowest point. Anytime you limit your visibility, you increase your risk factor. You can also become disoriented if the cloud is dense. Would you jump without an altimeter gage and rely on your best guess for pulling the rip cord? Actual contact with the cloud won't hurt you, it's the contact with what could be hidden IN the cloud that you should worry about.

yes yes and yes............you never ever dive into a cloud unless you have full face mask and insulating clothings and ice resistance parachute gear ........in sky dive your body reaches and average speed of 100mph and if you travel inside a cloud(high density water vapor) at an altitude of 5000-10000 ft you will be covered by ice and you would not feel good at all..(you`ll die probably) small pieces of cloudes doesnt count but if you have to travel more than 5 sec (pay attention only 5 sec or more) that means that you are in trouble...........have fun and keep safe

Thin clouds are ok since it's like walking through fog. No one should be skydiving if storm clouds are in the area. The winds are the most dangerous factor.

No. as long as u know how low u are to the ground so u can pull the parashute soon enough. it's just like a condensed mist in the sky. it wouldn't hurt any.

When I was taking my class I was told it was only if you do not know what you are doing. But, naturally you'll know what to do and it's quite simple once you've trained.
