I've seen cases like that but it's not always true. I believe you can find something attractive about somebody inside and out.
I rather a guy who can make me laugh than one who has 6 pack abs and stares in a mirror all day. BORING.

Guys have huge egos. No matter how ugly most guys are, to themselves they look super, so they go for the super looking woman. When a woman is ugly she knows it because most women spend all day in the mirror, all an ugly woman does is stay in her league.

The laws of physics says that it's it absolutely impossible for a hottie to go out with an ugly kid, unless they lost a bet or it's a blind date, or have money. A hottie dating an ugly guy will most definitely cheat with hot guys with six-pack abs, nice muscles, tan, handsome face.
Also, guys don't like ugly women, no matter how nice, sweet, funny, kind or sincere they are. If you are an ugly man or woman, you are a loser and will be alone for the rest of your life.
Always remember, looks are the most important thing in life.

Because men value looks more while women value personality more.
Men would probably have less problems with dating a boring/annoying but beautiful girl than a woman would have dating a guy with model looks but happens to be a jerk.

I've seen good looking guys with ugly women before - you just might not see it as frequently as a good looking girl w/ an ugly guy.

Opposites attract! When you know you have the good looks going for ya, then you want to feel the best lookin in the relationship. That's something that makes you feel good and confident. If you are the one that has a shinning personality, but lacking in the mirror department.
