that you could hear over EVERYTHING in every room in your house and was disturbing the rest of your baby???? The band is a CRAPPY local band that makes up for their poor musicianship by boosting the bass to God knows how many decibals and screaming at the top of their lungs. I am MAD, to say the least.

I am not a bad neighbor. Every week, there is more of their trash to pick up, more people who traipse across our lawn (dropping more trash, I might add) trying to get there, loud music coming from vehicles, and I put up with it rather politely. But YOU go to a noisy concert for a group you hate and try to put YOUR baby to sleep in the middle of it. Think fairground loud. THEN when you don't get irritated from the racket and the baby crying on top of it, you can call me a bad neighbor for being upset at the inconsiderateness of the business.
My husband is a youth minister. I am used to noisy concerts and noisy kids. They don't bother me. Noisy outdoor concerts that play crappy music in my backyard and disturb my kid DO bother me. Call me a b***h.

Depends what their zoned for, you might have a case. If they arent willing to lower a bit, you have an issue. Have they made noise before?? Also, is any other neighbor upset? Talk to your neighbors.

Please do not disregard my answer until you read the whold thing -- there are several variables to decipher --
1) is it loud to you, or to numerous neighbors -- if so, file a complaint with your local police department
2) if it's just one night every so often, talk to the neighbors about turning the volume down a bit.
3) here's what I would do -- assuming that you have a good sized front lawn, I would charge people to park on your lawn and also set up a refreshment stand (and I don't mean free snacks either!!).
essentially, it's your house -- you need to be happy. if you can't be happy, at
least make money while you're going deaf.

Get a sitter and go to the concert. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right? Who knows, you might enjoy yourself.
