Ok, i went in to Add/Remove to uninstall Makin Magic......and I did but then i went back the next day and its still there and it comes up with an error.....then I noticed that it has the same symbol by it that The Sims 2 Family Fun Pack has.......so what do i do.......and what causes this??? And also I was going to install the sims and the sims unleashed so i could have pets.......until The Sims 2 Pets comes out but it said i had the wrong cd in it so i put in makin magic and it worked and its like i never uninstalled any of the other expansion packs. (hot date, vacation, superstar, deluxe addition, unleashed, and makin magic......) so what am i supposed to do. thanks.

you'll need to go into your your computer, click on your hard drive and go into programme files and look for the file your looking for.. delete it.. then reinstal it... hopefully this helps.

one question do you have THE SIMS 2 disc? without that you can not install family fun pack or sims 2 pets. the sims 1 won't work with them you need sims 2. which you can find on ebay for cheap but you should only buy from your country because anywere else will have a different language. another thing you can try is installing your game on your computer's "SAFE MODE" which is used when you have problems installing or uninstalling something in regular mode. to get to safe mode just start up your computer and hold F8 until it take you to a screen where they give you and option of going into safe mode. use the arrow key to select the safe mode. the computer will ask you if you would like to proceed to safe mode click the ok button and try installing you game that way. if you still have problems then call the EA company which the number can be found in the game booklet. they will be able to walk you through the steps or they would just email you the steps if that is what you want.

sounds very complicated, i have never heard of anything like that. nor, in all of my computer life, my computers never did that. i really do not what you're trying to do.
did you give your computer too much to drink. TOO MUCH JUMAICAN RUM, AND ONE TOO MANY HAVANA'S CIGARS.
